I am the broker of Desiree Callender and Associates Realtors. A certified woman owned company,(WBENC) with a dedicated and detailed oriented staff. I have been an award winning full time Realtor in the Maryland Suburbs for over 40 years, and launched my independent brokerage in 2007. I see myself as a partner with my clients and use my knowledge and experience to focus on strategies that help clients to maximize value and make informed decisions. My unique marketing technique, negotiating skills and knowledge of neighborhoods have contributed to me selling my listings quickly and at an average of 99.5% of list price. Client satisfaction is my #1 priority. Desiree Callender & Associates is a full service residential real estate company. I launched this business In a market that was short sale and REO driven, where my clients became the banks responsible for managing foreclosed and short sale portfolios. My goal when I opened was to train the next generation of Real Estate Professionals, and while I did do that, I also became a student to an industry I was almost 30 years seasoned in myself. Sometimes what we set out to do, is not the only thing to do. To stay abreast of the on going changes and to be more proficient for my clients during that time I attended several conferences, completed many certification classes and became an active affiliate of several national organizations including NAR, NAREB, NAHREP, CLHMS, WinDS and FORCE . I am equipped to serve being CDPE, VRM, RDCPro, ResNet AMP, Equator, Five Star and SSRP Certified. Today my specialties still include Residential real estate primarily, and with a fresh team of Real Estate Professionals, we are growing and expanding our reach both domestically and globally through strategic partnerships and creative collaborations. We are still growing as a family owned and operated boutique style brokerage exercising Innovative marketing, and strong negotiating skills that bring buyers and sellers together.
